Thought on a Monday Morning

On whether or not it is proper to class Koizumi Jun'ichirō among "the revisionists."

No, though there are similarities.

Koizumi Jun'ichiro was the enemy of the current crop of politicians.

The revisionists are the enemies of the current crop of citizens.

Both have found their enemies to be inadequate, and have sought to replace them with a better class of human being.

Given what I've read of and on the revisionists, I always thought that they were playing up their shameless sense of being a -worse- class of human being than the 'citizens.'

Of course, when your political ideology tacitly encourages people not to bother to vote, it tends to hamstring you as a political force.
